Burls

As our name suggests, burls are our main focus. That's because burls are made of actual recovery. Similar to humans, when a tree's life is disrupted by injury or disease it has to recover and a burl is the tree's scar tissue that tells the story of its recovery. Burls look like ugly bumps on the side of the tree, but they are beautiful on the inside, each with its own unique blend of swirls, curls and hues. We offer several different types sourced from locations around the world.
